Technology Development Progress Update

Date: 09/29/2010

To Our Valued Shareholders,

As XsunX continues development of its cross-industry CIGS technology, we wanted to provide an update regarding recent success and progress associated with the use of thermal co-evaporation techniques to produce the CIGS solar absorbing layer of our solar cell design.

In our last newsletter we reported that a large part of the efforts associated with calibration of the co-evaporation system were behind us and that we were able to begin focusing on process refinement using the combination of the sputtering and co-evaporation processes necessary to produce complete CIGS devices. Last week our CTO, Mr. Robert Wendt, began achieving initial success with the evaporation of the CIGS layer producing films and devices that exhibited excellent film uniformity and high open circuit voltage typical for optimal quality CIGS films. These initial results are very encouraging and we believe will allow us to rapidly improve all aspects of the process.

Thank you for your continued support of our company. As always, if you have any questions, please contact our Investor Relations desk at [email protected] or (888) 797-4527.

Joseph Grimes, President, XsunX, Inc.
