Newsletter: XsunX Updates Progress Necessary to Produce First CIGS Devices

XsunX Reports on Recent Progress

Date: 11/16/2009

To Our Valued Shareholders,

As we approach the midway point of this quarter, I am happy to inform you that we continue to make significant progress in the development of our hybrid CIGS thin-film solar cell technology.

With Chief Technology Officer Robert Wendt leading our team of engineers, including those we are working with at Intevac, Inc., we have already set and reached a multitude of developmental goals related to establishing optimized base lines and validating the suitability of various layers comprising our CIGS solar cell.  With these achievements under our belts, we are now entering a stage in which we have begun working to combine these results to create a sample CIGS device.

As we proceed we continue to measure results and refine engineering designs that will help complete the adaption of Hard Disk processing equipment for use in the production of CIGS thin-film solar cells.

The progress weve made thus far indicates that were on track to produce working device samples via this novel manufacturing approach by the end of the year. When we reach this significant milestone in the XsunX timeline, well be sure to provide you with an update reporting the outcomes of innovating between these seemingly disparate yet complementary industries.

Thank you for your continued support of XsunX. We look forward to sharing more updates in the near future.  In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact our Investor Relations desk at  or (888) 797-4527.

Yours Truly,

Tom M. Djokovich, CEO

XsunX, Inc.
