Solar modules operate under a wide range of conditions such as hot, cloudy or hazy, mornings and afternoons and northern and southern Latitudes all of which can affect efficiency levels. Solar Power is marketed and priced using the factory rated performance.  Solar Modules however are not installed in factories but in real world conditions. In real world conditions a-Si Photovoltaic absorbers can out perform other solar cell technologies in diffused light and warm conditions. Using a program developed by the National Renewable Laboratories, XsunX has analyzed the competitive aspects of our solar module design establishing the Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE) of our product to other solar technologies in all 50 US states.
