Last week XsunX provided shareholders and customers with news that it is on target to complete the assembly of its CIGSolarTM TFPV cell evaporation system in October – news we are sure everyone has been waiting to hear. If you missed the announcement, here’s a link to the press release.
In our last newsletter, we outlined that a few remaining custom parts had been released for fabrication and now we can announce that these remaining parts were completed. Thankfully our next system will take advantage of many of the serial aspects of assembling this first custom system and we plan on ordering pre-configured parts to our specifications resulting in significantly shortened assembly times.
While these remaining custom parts were being fabricated, and in preparation to help expedite the completion of the total assembly, we have been working to prep and fit-up all five major systems: vacuum, material transport, evaporation, controls, and support systems. During the month, the CIGSolarTM tool will evolve significantly in appearance with the completion of these assemblies. Pictures of the current progress and brief updates can be found here.
Also, last Friday in an interview on MoneyTV, CEO Tom Djokovich discussed how XsunX had worked to differentiate itself within the thin film solar market as well as the Company’s push to complete the assembly of the CIGSolarTM tool in October. You can view Friday’s interview by clicking here.
Thanks for your time, have a great week, and we look forward to sharing our exciting progress in the near future.
